Shaykh Umar Vadillo

Born in 1964, he accepted Islam while still at university. He has led the return of the Islamic gold dinar and silver dirham, and the effort that brought the state government of Kelantan in Malaysia to mint them as currency. His writing is on riba, banking, paper money and the restoration of Islamic trade.
